Platform/Compute/Core Cloud Servers

Dependable compute for the everyday estate.

Core Cloud Servers run on Apache CloudStack — open, proven virtualisation with full API control and sovereign placement, for the workloads that make up most of your estate.

Capabilities

What CloudStack gives your compute

Production-ready compute capabilities that are secure, scalable and built for the way you build.

Four flavours
General, Memory Optimised, Performance Optimised and Scalable VMs — sized to the workload, not the SKU sheet.
Right shape, first time  →
Minutes to live
Servers provision through the console, API or a sentence to Noura — no ticket queue in between.
Projects start the same day  →
Golden images
Standardised, versioned templates so every server starts from a known-good build.
Built-in HA
CloudStack restarts guests automatically on healthy capacity when a host fails — a platform behaviour, not an add-on.
Open, no lock-in
Apache CloudStack and KVM — an open platform with standard images and APIs, so nothing traps your workloads.
Sovereign placement
Choose the country once — residency, jurisdiction and isolation follow every server you create.
Isolated multi-tenancy
CloudStack accounts, domains and projects give each team or entity its own boundary inside your estate.
Full API & automation
Every action available through a documented API — Terraform, CLI pipelines and scripts drive the platform natively.
Self-service
Teams create, resize and retire their own servers within the quotas and policies you set — no ticket, no waiting.
Snapshots & clones
Instant snapshots and writable clones for safe change, quick rollback and fresh test data.
Resilient by designBuilt to continue, even when hardware fails.
Predictable performanceConsistent I/O for the apps that matter.
Efficient at scaleOne flat fee. Scale without waste.
Backed by humansReal experts. Real support. Every time.

One platform, four shapes

Choose a shape to see how it behaves, where it runs and the plans it ships in. Mix them freely inside one environment.

FLAVOUR 01

General Compute

The default shape. Balanced CPU-to-memory for the workloads that make up most of an estate — steady traffic, ordinary demands, no drama. Start here unless the workload tells you otherwise.

Two ways to buy

Dedicated VMs, or a pool you shape

Both sit inside your one flat fee — the difference is how much freedom you want inside it.

Dedicated VM PlansPer-workloadNamed servers with a fixed shape — sized once, running until you say otherwise. Every VM is a known quantity.

What each group gets from Core

Four groups shape a cloud decision. Pick the one you belong to — the platform reads differently from each seat.

One standard we can defend to the board

A single governed compute platform instead of scattered VMs nobody owns — in-country by default, with a written exit path.

FAQs

How is it priced?
As part of one flat monthly fee, sized to your estate. We scope the outcome first — commercials follow the sizing, not the other way round.
Can a server grow later?
Yes. Scalable VMs resize vCPU and RAM live, flavours can change with a restart, and the estate re-baselines at thresholds you approve.
What is included with a server?
Everything compute needs from day one — provisioning, golden-image templates, snapshots and built-in HA, all inside your flat fee. When you want more, monitoring, patching, backup and security bolt straight on.
Where does my data live?
In the country you choose. Residency and jurisdiction are placement decisions, made once.
What if we outgrow Core?
Workloads move to Prime, GPU or a Virtual Private Cloud on the same network — no egress fees, no migration tax.
Do you help us migrate in?
Yes — assessment, landing zone and cutover are run by our team as part of onboarding.
What are the size limits and quotas?
Flavours scale to 64 vCPU and 512 GB RAM per VM before it becomes a conversation, and quotas are yours to shape — CloudStack domains, accounts and projects carve capacity per team, with delegation inside it.
Can we drive it from Terraform and CI?
Yes. Every operation — create, resize, snapshot, retire — is exposed through the CloudStack API, CLI and a maintained Terraform provider, with scoped API keys per team. If the console can do it, your pipeline can do it.
How is the flat fee different from public cloud pricing?
Everything inside the plan you opt for is included — no additional charge for the components that make it up. Public clouds meter each component on consumption — vCPU hours, snapshots, API calls, egress — so the bill moves with usage. Here the plan is reserved for you and the figure you agreed is the figure you pay.
Where are snapshot schedules and space managed?
Snapshots are taken at the platform layer here, but schedules, retention and the space they consume are governed in the resilience services — the Backup Service and Disaster Recovery pages cover that depth.
Can security services be included in my plan?
Yes. Endpoint security, firewalls and WAF are scoped into the same flat fee when you add them — one figure, no separate security invoice.
