How is Applite Farm different from Applite?

Applite is one managed server for SMB and mid-market teams. Applite Farm is many session hosts behind a load balancer — resilience, zone spanning and enterprise scale, secure by default.

Is security an edition here?

No. Every farm ships secure by default — RDP Port Shield, brute-force defender, ransomware security, encrypted traffic and monitoring are standard.

How does maintenance work?

Hosts drain from the balancer, patch and return one by one. The farm keeps serving throughout — no user-visible window.

Can the farm span zones?

Yes — Multi-Zone HA farms distribute hosts across availability zones and the balancer steers around a zone event automatically.

What happens at peak?

The balancer spreads load across all hosts, and additional hosts join at thresholds you approve — capacity re-baselines, invoices don't spike.

How is the flat fee different from public cloud pricing?

Everything inside the plan you opt for is included — no additional charge for the components that make it up. Public clouds meter each component on consumption, so the bill moves with usage. Here the plan is reserved for you and the figure you agreed is the figure you pay.

Can we drive it from Terraform and CI?

Yes. Every operation is exposed through the REST API, CLI and a maintained Terraform provider, with scoped API keys per team. If the console can do it, your pipeline can do it.

Can security services be included in my plan?

The farm's own defence layer is already inside the fee. Wider estate security — endpoint, firewalls, WAF — scopes into the same flat fee when you add it.
