Do users need a client or a VPN?
Neither. An HTML5 browser is enough — zero client software, no endpoint management, and devices never join the corporate network.
What is RDP Port Shield?
A built-in, industry-first control that keeps RDP ports closed at the Windows Firewall and opens them dynamically, only for authenticated users on white-listed IPs, only when required.
How fast can we migrate our apps?
Business apps typically move onto Applite in under four hours; migration blueprints cover apps that benefit from refactoring.
What bandwidth do users need?
Around 50 Kbps per user or device — compression, SSL/TLS offload, app caching and acceleration keep sessions responsive on weak links.
How is this different from VDI or DaaS?
Applite streams the application, not a desktop around it — for app access, VDI and DaaS are heavier and costlier than they need to be. Workspace VDI remains the answer when someone truly needs a full desktop.
When should we look at Applite Farm?
When one server stops being enough. Applite Farm runs multiple session hosts behind a load balancer for enterprise estates — secure by default. Applite itself stays single-server on purpose: simple, affordable, quick.
How is the flat fee different from public cloud pricing?
Everything inside the plan you opt for is included — no additional charge for the components that make it up. Public clouds meter each component on consumption, so the bill moves with usage. Here the plan is reserved for you and the figure you agreed is the figure you pay.
Can we drive it from Terraform and CI?
Yes. Every operation is exposed through the REST API, CLI and a maintained Terraform provider, with scoped API keys per team. If the console can do it, your pipeline can do it.
How do limits and quotas work?
Quotas are yours to shape — carve capacity per team or project and delegate inside it. Hard ceilings are a conversation, not a wall; the estate re-baselines at thresholds you approve.
Can security services be included in my plan?
Yes. Endpoint security, firewalls and WAF are scoped into the same flat fee when you add them — one figure, no separate security invoice.
